| All RDP clients will ask you to accept the server's certificate. For now I am using a self-signed certificate for the RDP server, and your client will probably warn you about this. Ignore all the warnings and tell it to connect. This does not mean your connection is not encrypted, it just means that the certificate is not issued by an authority that your computer already trusts. | |

| Click the **+** in the top left of the window to add a new connection. Under **Protocol**, change it to **RDP**. Set **Server** as **tilix.art**, and fill in your username and password. **Domain** can be left blank. Scroll down and, under **Resolution**, click **Use client resolution** or use the **Custom** option. | Click the **+** in the top left of the window to add a new connection. Set **Network connection type** to **Auto-detect** if you do not feel like any of the other options are more suitable for you. Press **Save and Connect**. Subsequent connections can be initiated by double clicking on the entry in the list within the starting window. You can right click on an existing entry to reconfigure any saved hosts. |
