-====== Remote Desktop Access ======

-===== Certificates =====
-
-All RDP clients will ask you to accept the server's certificate. For now I am using a self-signed certificate for the RDP server, and your client will probably warn you about this. Ignore all the warnings and tell it to connect. This does not mean your connection is not encrypted, it just means that the certificate is not issued by an authority that your computer already trusts.
-
-===== Windows =====
-
-Windows has a built in RDP client. Open your start menu and search for "Remote Desktop Connection". You may pin that app to your start menu or taskbar to make returning to tilix easier.
-
-In the text box that follows **Computer:**, type in **tilix.art**. You can press **Connect** right away, but there are some options you can change under the **Show Options** button on the bottom left of the window. If the client is connected in full-screen mode, move your cursor to the center-top of the display to access the window controls.
-
-==== Automatic Credentials ====
-
-By default, the client will connect to the XRDP login screen where you enter your user and password. You can automate this by filling in the **User name:** field under the **General** tab under **Show Options**. You may also check **Allow me to save credentials** so you don't have to enter your password later. Next time you connect after filling in the **User name:** field, you will be prompted for your user password. If you checked **Allow me to save credentials**, this password prompt will not appear next time you log in. The program should save tilix.art as the default host, but if it is blank, you will have to type in tilix.art again.
-
-==== Display Resolution ====
-
-The **Display** tab under **Show Options** has a slider to set your screen resolution. If the resolution you choose is the same as your monitor, the client will default to full-screen mode.
-
-===== Linux =====
-[[https://remmina.org/|Remmina]] is a capable RDP client for Linux desktops. Search in your distribution's package manager to see if there is an available package for you to install. If not, you may have to install it manually. Due to the numerous number of distributions, detailed instructions on how to do this are not available here at this time.
